Hi there,

Thanks for downloading the office.

If you have this file as a result of downloading a IMS content package(zip file) and unzipping it, there is something you should know.
Because of the size limit on the files we can include in our Learning Management System, we could not package the office in its entirety.
This zip file contains the office environment with the filing cabinets and books intact.

//////////////////////////////// ADDING THE ITEMS ON THE DESKTOP /////////////////////////////////////

To add the various objects sitting on the desk and to enable them to work you need to put the following files into this folder and unzip them.

801-address-book.zip
801-mobile-phone.zip
801-newspaper.zip
801-radio.zip

You can find these files in the repository- http://oer.repository.ac.nz

//////////////////////////////// MAKING THE WHOLE THING WORK /////////////////////////////////////

Some links and html content will only work when uploaded to a live server. If you click links locally (on your own machine) and they do not open or update the page don't worry. These links will work when you put the files online. There is no need to change or re-link any files.
The files that these local link issues relate to are:

1) The 'read the text' links that appear when you select a book from the shelf or a file from the filing cabinet.

2) The text content shown beneath the history radio. (Text will not change to match the chosen years audio content until it is placed online.)

3) The memo text on the right of the mobile phone. (Text will not change to match the chosen messages audio content until it is placed online.)

NOTE: The future newspaper(801-newspaper) and tHe address book(801-address-book) will work locally.
No other changes are required to make the office work.

Thanks,

The development team.
