Kia ora Dave, Tu. I’ve finished collating the information on the bargaining process and I’m sending it through.
It’s important to get your head around the duty to act in good faith and its implications.
There’s also some good stuff on recognising the role and authority of representatives. Remember not to discuss the bargaining, or anything arising out of it, directly with your employees, unless both you and the union have agreed. It could be seen as coercive.
The information on providing necessary information is extensive but we haven’t had any requests yet and we can go through that nearer to the time.
