An email from Sharon: What you need to do in your teams

You are taking up the role of Dave. In your teams you need to discuss the issues that Sharon is raising in her email and prepare a reply email. Your reply should at least include the following:

What management style should Sharon adopt? Describe the main components of that style and explain to Sharon why you think this is an appropriate style for her.

Sharon is particularly concerned with how she uses her new `power´ and authority. What advice would you give her on how to use the power and authority of her new position in these three areas? Explain how she should deal with the change in her:

All team members should contribute to the email and make sure they address all issues raised by Sharon. The presenter of each team will have the final responsibility to produce Dave’s email and to attach it to the last posting in the team’s discussion forum. It is best to produce a draft email a few days before the deadline to ensure all team members agree that this is the end product the team agreed upon and to add further input if needed.
