  • In industry Pre-start Meetings or Toolbox Talks are a way to ensure all workers are participating in safety activities, and have an opportunity to discuss hazards/controls, incidents and accidents. During your time at Wintec you will be expected to attend and participate in these meetings also. While studying, toolbox meetings will also be used to discuss and inquire into the learning for the day and develop a work plan to see it happen.

    Health and Safety

Health and Safety is a big part of the day. During a pre-start meeting, we discuss what the plan for the day is, the Hazard Board, and any other issues or things we need to know about.
