    Wintec in Alert Level 2

    In Alert Level 2 Wintec is open.  We will be operating with adjustments made to Alert Level 2 conditions, such as mandatory scanning, physical distancing and face covering/mask wearing recommendations.  

    Here are the key points that we must follow :

    • Face Coverings: Staff and students must bring face coverings or masks with them when attending onsite activities at Alert Level 2.

    • You must wear face coverings in teaching and learning spaces, research and laboratory spaces, libraries, campus retailers and enrolment areas.

    • Face coverings must be worn at Wintec Health Services.

    • Physical Distancing: Keep 1 metre physical distancing where possible.

    • Contact tracing:  There are QR codes at all of our campuses. Everyone needs to ensure they take responsibility and scan in on campus. Please note we now have further scanning at specific public-facing areas at Wintec such as the hubs, Windows Restaurant, Venues, Urban Spa for example. 

    • Noho marae: Overnight noho marae will not be permitted at Alert Level 2, due to the increased risk of transmission of Covid-19 with cumulative exposure time.

    • Wintec is open.   Our hubs may be open.  Note: some of our food retailers in the hubs may not open this week.

    • Please remember if there is no food retailers open you will have to supply your own food, please bring food and drinks with you.

    • There will be marks on the floor by the benches, please stay as close as you can to these marks while working, REMEMBER the 1m distance rule.

    • Please be patience, and work with and around one another.

    • Fill in the Individual COVID-19 Health Declaration form, you will not be allowed back into Wintec buildings without it have being completed.
