The module has NOT been tested. Please provide any feedback. I had trouble getting the balance between enough information without going on forever with detail. The very best idea is that your team sets up a community of practice and becomes expert.

This module is part of the Applied Digital Skills for Teaching and Learning Course.
You'll receive 1 credit when you complete this 10 hour module.
Its main purpose is to introduce you to ways of finding resources for your courses and then to find different ways of presenting them. While we look at resources, some may be activities but we don't focus on this yet.

- Sharing ideas Wiki
- This thing - 'Sharing ideas' is called a wiki.
  It's a way of collaborating and sharing ideas. I have set it up as I hoped it might be a good way for you to share ideas in your groups about: where to find royalty free resources; useful resources; resources you have developed.

The aim of the module is to explore different types of resources you can add to your Moodle course.

finding resources.

Terminology: Have you Choice

Make a choice

We look in a superficial way at using images.

Your tasks are:

digest the information in the 'book'

find help files on the For Staff site

identify at least two images you want in your online/blended course or project and add these to your sandpit

share the place you found these resources and add the url to the wiki in the top section.

(Getting more complex I know).

As in the other sections this is a 'once over lightly' about finding other resources.

Your tasks will be to update your planning document, find appropriate resources and share the sources with a short description on the wiki. Then add them to your sandpit.

In this final section we'll take a look back.

Check that the resources you found and added to your sandpit or course are:

easy to use

appropriate for the purpose

support your learning outcomes/help students develop capabilities/are engaging

Your activity is to review your planning document, review your learning outcomes and assess whether or not you have the correct resources and that they are accessible.

Then open Self Assessment for Learning Environments (SABLE). Complete your section and ask a colleague to also look.
In the wiki briefly describe your resources and how they meet your learning outcomes.
Choose an appropriate answer in the Choice section and wait for your badge to appear.
