    Library Services are available at all our campuses with access to print, online material, and help with finding the resources required to support your study. Learning Commons Librarians are here to assist you with your study needs by guiding you to a wide range of relevant books, journals, videos and online resources. We will assist you to research information on your chosen subjects and to reference your material correctly using the APA referencing format.

          • Business Search Engine - Find a company quickly and easily by the product types and brands they supply. Over 59,000 brand names in New Zealand, classified in over 45,000 product categories. 

          • Building Code
          • The Department of Building and Housing's Building Code Compliance Documents (Approved Documents) and Building Code Handbook are now available for free download as PDF files from this website. 

          • Cochrane Library
          • This database is the leading international resource for systematic reviews in health care. It is updated regularly as Cochrane Reviews are published ‘when ready’ and form monthly issues. These full text reviews have been made available for free to all New Zealanders. 

          • Digital NZ
          • Search across more than 28 million digital items to discover New Zealand treasures such as amazing aerial photos, posters and memorabilia, newspaper clippings, artworks, and publications. Items are contributed from partners including Te Papa, the Alexander Turnbull Library, Auckland Art Gallery, Te Ara, NZ On Screen.

          • FindLaw.NZ
          • Information on NZ law, legislation, cases, legal resources etc. Excellent tool for searching cases.

          • Google Scholar
          • Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites. Often contains citations only, but some links to PDF full text. Use Google Scholar in conjunction with our scholarly research databases - ask a librarian for help.

          • Index New Zealand
          • Abstracts for over half a million articles published in New Zealand over the past 20 years. From popular magazines such as North and South and Consumer to more specialised journals such as New Zealand Law Review and Art New Zealand. Abstract only not full text. 

          • Medline on PubMed
          • NLM's premier bibliographic database covering the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and the preclinical sciences. Contains bibliographic citations and author abstracts from more than 5,000 biomedical journals published in 71 countries. The database contains over 20 million citations. 

          • National Library of New Zealand
          • The National Library holds rich and varied collections of research material from New Zealand and the Pacific and includes the Alexander Turnbull Library - a storehouse of words, pictures and sounds that tell us about the activities of people in New Zealand and the Pacific.

          • New Zealand Council for Educational Research
          • An independent educational research organisation with a bicultural focus and an international reputation for producing quality educational research and research-based resources.

          • New Zealand Government Online
          • The official gateway to New Zealand Government. This website provides an overview of New Zealand and its government, access to government services information and employment opportunities, as well as government agency contact details. Find out all that you need to know about everything that Government has to offer. From drivers' licences to dog licences, tax issues to health issues, starting a family to starting a business. You can access a wide range of services like finding a job or applying for a passport . Or you can find information on immigration , education , and legislation . 

          • New Zealand Legislation
          • Source of New Zealand Acts, Bills and Legislative Instruments. 

          • Statistics New Zealand
          • Statistics New Zealand Tatauranga Aotearoa is a government department and New Zealand’s national statistical office. New Zealand's major source of official statistics, administers the Statistics Act 1975, and leads the Official Statistics System. 

          • Te Ara - The Encyclopedia of New Zealand
          • This New Zealand online encyclopedia is a comprehensive guide to our peoples, natural environment, history, culture, economy and society. It contains over 850 stories arranged into topics.

          To access ALL databases you will need to remote login through the CITRIX gateway.  Instructions for how to do this are available from the WelTec homepage. Once logged in to Citrix, open your student desktop, open your Internet browser and go to the Library website and click on the resource you wish to access.
