    Whitireia and WelTec are committed to supporting Pacific students and their academic success. As a Pacific student, you’re a vital part of community life at Whitireia and WelTec. We have programmes, networks and a strong Pacific focused team that is here to help you succeed.

    Support

    Our dedicated Pacific Team is here to support and help you from day one till the end of your studies. We organise and participate in sporting and cultural activities to connect students and staff. We are here to minimise barriers through cultural and pastoral support, academic support, financial support, referrals internal and external.

    Student Spaces

    We have dedicated spaces for Pacifica students in Petone and Porirua. You will find a friendly and welcoming place to study, socialise or get advice and support.

    Ako Ake

    Location: F014, Porirua

    Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am-11pm. Weekends 7am-6pm

     

    Pasifika Centre

    Location: Student Hub, Petone

    Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. After hours by appointment
