One thing to remember is that the internal battery resistance is nothing special. It's just another resistor that is in the circuit.

In this case the battery internal EMF of 12 V is driving a total resistance of 5.25 Ω.

You can get the voltage drop in two ways:
1. Calculate the current using Ohm's Law, then use Ohm's Law to get eh voltage across each resistor.
2. Use the voltage divider equation. The total resistance is 5.25 Ω. The voltage across each resistor will be that resistor's value over 5.25 times the 12V internal EMF.

Either way, the voltages should work out the same.
