Hi Leon, this is solved using the same SOHCAHTOA rules.

In this case, I will define \( h \) as the unknown hypotenuse. The side opposite to the angle has length 120. We are doing calculations with the hypotenuse and the opposite side to an angle, so we use sine, or SOH.

Then:

\( \sin 44 = \frac{120}{h} \)

You will have to transpose the equation to get \( h \) on top.

\( \frac{h}{120} = \frac{1}{\sin 44} \implies h = \frac{120}{\sin 44} \)

Then \( h \) can be calculated.
