This site - Rauemi resources, ideas, pedagogy - was set up in response to various queries from tutors in Health and Social Services about pedagogy, being online, engaging students. I have uploaded a file from Ako Aotearoa and sumamrised it. It's a list of key ways to engage students. I also added some suggestions.
There are other topics there - including a link to MERLOT, the Multimedia Resource for Online Learning and Teaching, some notes about teacher and cognitive presence.
I note, however that this site is rarely visited or used, so I am curious to know what is most helpful for you.
The Moodle site Teaching with Moodle also sets out some ideas for developing your Moodle site depending on your pedagogy.
I'm curious to know your general preferred pedagogy. Do you have different approaches per individual? Do you have a shared pedagogy?
If you let us know what you need we can assist. At the moment I think I am second guessing your needs and thus, not meeting them.
