Hi Guy

I get what you mean about the "grunt" the problem I have is that the GA15DE is an econo engine made for emissions and not performance. Where as something like a G13b from a late 80's early 90's swift GTi has similar bhp and the engine dry weighs around 60kg and around 90kg with the gearbox and it loves to rev. I'm abit bias about the G13b.

Also about the ecu i've got an installer manual for an Adaptronic ecu for an older model if you would like to take a look at it. Which I might be able to  one for the project. I will say this now we might need to go aftermarket due to trying to get a speedo, rev counter and so on to work, plus wheel size and tyre size will become a factor in which wheel/hub sensors will be needed for a speedo.
