Course Outline

The purpose of this course is to create an overview of Moodle and its varied uses.

By the end of the session you will be able to:

• explain WelTec Moodle jargon e.g. Moodle, forum, wiki, edit settings, navigation, breadcrumbs, sticky block, CIA
• describe the use of topics and navigation in Moodle
• identify ways in which CIA can be applied to Moodle use in the School of Engineering
• identify key staff in each programme who can lead that group in Moodle development
• identify training needs and agree on a time/s for training
• describe how Moodle can be used effectively in your School
