We've planned this module  to be mostly online and project based. It should take about 10 hours of your time. Make sure you talk to your manager about this so that you have some time to work on the project and complete the module. 

Workshop Attendance

We recommend you attend a  workshop at the beginning of the module. .

 

Moodle

At  WelTec, we  use the learning management system (lms) Moodle.  In this module you are planning for using Moodle and you'll work in Moodle in the module Setting up your course in Moodle.  




Blended learning

By blended learning we mean a course or programme that has at least two components: usually online and face to face but there could be other options like online and workshops, online and workplace.

At the end of each section there is a 'Choice' activity. When you answer the question a tick will appear in the progress box. When all the progress boxes are  ticked your 'Moodle badge' will be released.

This module is available to any WelTec staff who want to use Moodle or to understand how we use it at WelTec.  
 There are  module enrolment keys, which you'll find on the Developing Digital Skills for Teaching and Learning landing page.


On successful completion

On completion of this module you'll receive a 'Moodle badge'. This is an online recognition of completion. When you have completed five modules you'll receive a certificate of attendance for the Applied Digital Skills for Teaching and Learning
