Central Robotics House Rules (VRC Only)

  1. Teams are responsible for making sure that they are registered for the event, check in to the event on time, and show up to/pass tech inspection.
Your team must be registered, checked in, AND have passed tech inspection before matches are generated at 10.35am. Otherwise you will not be competing.

VRC Teams: Register Here (once per team/robot)
  2. The only exceptions to the robot sizing rule <R4> are that axles may be permitted outside of the 18" limits, up to 0.5" (unless it provides tactical advantage).
The intent of this rule modification is to prevent unnecessary destruction of parts during robot development. Note that this is a house rule for local scrimmages only, and will not apply at regionals or nationals.
  3. If you mess up the field while testing/practicing or by playing a match, then you must reset the field for the next match.
A minimum of 1 person per team must stay behind to do this. You will receive a "no-show" mark in the system if you fail to do this.
  4. Matches will start at the precise time on the field monitor (when the countdown timer hits 0:00). If you are not ready to play the match at this point, then you will be not be allowed to play the match.
Being ready includes, but is not limited to, placing and aligning the robot, placing preloads, plugging in the joysticks, and discussing strategy with your alliance partner.
  5. Teams are responsible for following the match schedule - we will not be running after you. If you are not on time, you will be receive a loss for that match (read Section 3 of the game manual).
