WelTec Moodle

This course provides you with a range of skills that will enhance your journey through study at Whitireia.

This course contains examples of most of the standard activities in Moodle.

Applied Digital Skills for Teaching and Learning is  designed to introduce staff to the process for developing blended courses.

There are five  (5) modules (with more to be added) and on completion of all 5 you receive a Moodle badge that credits you with   Applied Digital Skills for Teaching and Learning which will provide evidence for your PP&R.

We will develop more advanced modules for 2016 for the Applied Digital Skills for Teaching and Learning.

This course will introduce students to the main components of a supply chain, such as customer service, demand forecasting, inventory control, warehousing and storage, traffic and transportation, plant and warehouse site selection, order processing and materials handling. It will emphasize the relationships among these various elements and how effective management of them leads to a higher economic standard of living.

The aim of this course is to prepare students for an applied industry project related to their area of study.

By the end of this course the student will be able to:

1.              Recognise and identify the integral components of an applied industry project and apply these to the preparation of a project proposal for an organisation.
